SCPS Collective Bargaining Tentative Agreement Reached with Bus Drivers' Association

Joint Statement between the School Board of Seminole County and the Seminole County School Bus Drivers Association, Inc.

In the spirit of cooperation, the School Board of Seminole County and the Seminole County School Bus Drivers Association are pleased to announce that the parties have tentatively agreed to contract language and compensation.

  • All current bus drivers and bus monitors will receive an increase of $2.00 an hour to their hourly rate of pay retroactive to July 1, 2021 (which equates to a percentage raise increase ranging from 7.87% to 18.54%).
  • Effective July 1, 2021, the new starting salary for bus drivers will be $16.53 per hour.
  • Effective July 1, 2021, the new starting salary for bus monitors will be $12.79 per hour.
  • All current bus drivers and bus monitors will receive a one-time supplement based on the following years of experience:
