Funds will improve students’ ProStart experience with updated curriculum, supplies, and educational opportunities
Sanford, FL - Hagerty High was one of forty high schools from 24 states selected to receive a $5,000 grant from the Rachael Ray Foundation to build up its ProStart culinary arts and restaurant management program.
The funds from the Rachael Ray Foundation ProStart Grow Grant Program will provide the 600 students in the culinary program with proper chef wear including both chef jackets as well as hats, and the students will have access to a more modern kitchen environment that promotes student-centered learning and safety while promoting a culture of positivity, professionalism, and accountability.
