Private School Students

The Florida Department of Education has asked districts to administer state end-of-course (EOC) exams to private school students. These tests are intended for students who have completed an EOC course required for graduation (Algebra) at a private school and who intend to enroll in a public school in the Fall.  Registration for summer testing opens May 1, 2024.  The SCPS summer testing window is:

  • Wednesday, July 17 - BEST Algebra 1, BEST Geometry, Biology, and G11 U.S. History EOCs
  • Thursday, July 18 - Grade 10 FAST ELA-Reading

Students who are not able to test during the summer testing window, will have another opportunity to take the EOC during the Fall testing window at the public school in which they are enrollled.

This is the process that will be used to administer assessments in Seminole County.
